
The cryptocurrency market has gained $2 billion over the past 24 hours, rising from $212 billion to $214 billion.
The rise comes from tokens like VeChain, Nano, Tezos, and other recording gains over the past few hours.
The daily trading volume still stands at $12 billion, with gains recorded by some cryptocurrencies canceled out by others.
Bitcoin price analysis
The Bitcoin price has gone up 1% against the US Dollars to trade at $6,469. The price of the leading cryptocurrency continues to trade around the $6,500 region with no major news to cause a plunge or a surge.
The Bitcoin daily trading volume has remained stagnant at around $3.5 billion despite the Bitcoin price rising slightly over the past 24 hours.
A look at Bitcoin’s weekly chart shows that the cryptocurrency has been trading between the $6,300 and $6,500 regions over the past one week, with only a slight dip below $6,000 experienced during the week.
Ethereum price analysis
The second largest cryptocurrency has slipped by more than 2.5% over the past 24 hours. ETH was trading at $298 yesterday but has now dropped to $291. The cryptocurrency fails to hold $300 support and has continued to slump.
The daily trading volume has also stagnated at $1.5 billion. Over the past one week, the Ethereum price lost roughly 10% of its value. It was trading at $322 a week ago but is now trading at $291 after slipping to $255 during the week.
Ripple price analysis
XRP has been trading sideways over the past 24 hours. The cross-border payment cryptocurrency has been trading around the $0.33 level over the past one day. The cryptocurrency hasn’t recorded gains despite news that Ripple is intent on expanding its business in China.
The 24-hour trading volume meanwhile has risen significantly from $322 million to $365 million. Over the past one week, XRP has gone up by 9%. It was trading at $0.30 a week ago but has gone up now trade at $0.33, after experiencing a weekly high at $0.37 during the week.
EOS price analysis
Like Ripple, EOS has dipped over the past 24 hours. It was trading at $5.21 yesterday but has now dropped to $5.10.
The 24-hour trading volume meanwhile has gone up from $643 million to $760 million. The rise in trading volume, however, didn’t result in the price of the cryptocurrency increasing.
EOS was trading at $5.16 a week ago but has now dropped to $5.10. The coin did record some experienced dips below the $5 mark and highs above $5.55 mark before settling at its current price of $5.10.
Litecoin price analysis
Litecoin has lost 2.7% of its value over the past 24 hours. It was trading at $57 yesterday but has plunged to $57. The daily trading volume meanwhile has increased from $221 million to $228 million.
The seventh largest cryptocurrency lost 8.3% over the past seven days. LTC was trading above $60 a week ago but has since then dropped to its current $55 per coin.
