In the first quarter of 2025, the platform flagged over $402.1 million in assets associated with malicious activities, marking a notable increase of 60.71% from February to March. This proactive detection is crucial as the number of new smart contracts continues to rise, with 6.2 million created in the first quarter of 2025 alone, surpassing the total for 2024.
Understanding Malicious Smart Contract Events
Ethereum remains a hotbed for smart contract activity, with over five million contracts created annually.
